When confirming the booking, a security deposit is required and is pre-authorised (not charged) on your credit card. The amount varies depending on the vehicle model and the season, and we always state it clearly before confirmation. The deposit is released within a maximum of 7 working days after the vehicle is returned in perfect condition, with no additional charges.

Yes. At Horizon CHM, we offer a flexible cancellation policy so you can travel with peace of mind. Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance are eligible for a full refund. For later cancellations, we apply a proportional sliding scale. We recommend checking the exact terms at the time of booking, as they may vary depending on the season and the model selected.

All Horizon CHM motorhomes include fully comprehensive insurance in the rental price, with cover for third-party liability, accidental damage, and roadside assistance. The excess can be reduced to zero by taking out our premium cover, which is ideal for travellers who want complete peace of mind on their route through Andalusia. Insurance covers the whole of Spain, and extended cover for Portugal and the rest of Europe is available on request.

Yes. Our motorhomes and campervans are delivered fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and pans. Bedding can be included as an extra or hired separately depending on the package you choose. All units also include a fridge, gas hob, shower, chemical toilet, and external water and electricity connection (CEE17), so all you need to do is enjoy the journey.

Yes — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All rentals include ongoing roadside assistance. If you have any mechanical or safety issue during your trip along the Costa del Sol, in Andalusia, or anywhere on the Iberian Peninsula, a specialist team will be available to help you immediately. At Horizon CHM, we won’t leave you stranded.

Can I bring my dog or pet in a hired motorhome in Malaga?

Accepted Answer

At Horizon CHM, we are pet-friendly, subject to conditions. We accept pets in certain vehicles in our fleet, provided you let us know at the time of booking. A deep-cleaning surcharge applies at the end of the rental. We ask that pets always travel with an approved harness while driving and that you follow the rules of campsites and motorhome areas on your route. If you arrive by plane, your motorhome can be ready for you to set off to the Costa del Sol, Sierra de las Nieves, or any route through Andalusia in less than an hour after landing.
